Sky Las Vegas Explosion Injures Three
Las Vegas Strip condominium project, Sky Las Vegas, the new condominium project located on the north Las Vegas strip next to the new Hilton Westin, was the scene of an accident injuring four workers with three to hospital with burn injuries. One of the workers was reported to have second and third degree burns over 30% of his body. Crews were venting natural gas from a fourth floor swimming pool control room when an unknown source sparked an explosion. There was no visible damage to the structure and the fire was out before firemen arrived.
