$5.5 Million Fremont Street Fix-up
Downtown Las Vegas has been on the decline for a number of years and nothing really seems to help the slide. The Fremont Street Light Canopy didn't deliver the thousands of gamblers hoped for nor did the Neonop[olis project. Now the city braintrust has invested another $5.5 million of taxpaper's money into the latest band-aid, the Fremont Street East Neon Show and sidewalk repair. Flipchip stopped by for the grand opening to shoot some photos and MGS was there with her video camera so you can be the judge of the effectiveness of this latest investment.
