Artexpo comes to Las Vegas

This weekend we'll be attending the largest collection of celebrity artwork ever amassed in one exhibition.
Artexpo Las Vegas takes place at Mandalay Bay and features artwork by celebrity artists including Michael Cartellone, Tony Curtis, Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, John Lennon, Paul McCartney, Gordon Parks, Kenny Rogers, Frank Sinatra, Grace Slick, Ringo Starr, Donna Summer, Tico Torres, and Ronnie Wood.
Tony Curtis will be onhand Sept. 29 at noon to be honored for Artexpo's Lifetime Achievement Award.
Grace Slick will sign and take photos with purchasers of her art on Sept. 29 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and Sept. 30 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Artexpo runs today noon to 6 p.m., tomorrow 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sunday 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Tickets are $10 per day, and $5 for seniors/students. Children 12 and under are free.
Art will also be available for purchase.
The celebrity art at the Artexpo is only part of this weekend's extraordinary show. The expo has been around for 29 years in New York City and has expanded to come to Las Vegas for the first time.
