Wayne Newton Ousted from "Dancing with the Stars"

"Mr. Las Vegas" Wayne Newton was this week's celebrity casualty on ABC's "Dancing with the Stars." Newton and his professional partner Cheryl Burke received the lowest scores on Monday's celeb dance-off, and landed in the bottom two for the second consecutive week.
Las Vegas' Floyd Mayweather survived however, performing a lively jive that earned enough audience votes to keep the boxing champion in contention for another week.
Newton, the show's resident "older guy with personality" (a la John Ratzenberger and Jerry Springer in previous seasons) earned praise for his great showmanship during his tenure on the show, but at the end of the day his lack of grace and technique got the better of him. His final performance was a theatrically done tango, complete with Newton donning a stick-on mustache.
"Dancing With the Stars" airs Mondays at 8 PM and Tuesday nights at 9 PM on ABC.
