Fans send baby booties for one more episode of Las Vegas TV show

The cancellation of the "Las Vegas" TV series before it finished its season has fans up in arms. Or baby booties.
Since CBS resurrected "Jericho" largely from a fan base mailing literal tons of peanuts to CBS executive offices, fans from other recently canceled series have gathered force to protest.
Fans of NBC's "Journeyman" are sending boxes of Rice-a-Roni. The series' backend episodes weren't picked up after the writers' strike. Based in San Francisco, the lead character time traveled in the past to different eras of the city within his lifetime.
Now with Delinda (Molly Sims) pregnant and about to deliver in "Las Vegas," fans are shipping baby booties by the case to NBC in an effort to get one more episode to bid a fond farewell to the series.
While being topical to the show, baby booties were also selected because they're cheap to ship and can easily be donated to charity.
