Book site offers pictures of old Las Vegas
We got all misty-eyed and nostalgic while looking at the dozens and dozens of photos on the website launched in conjunction with the book When the Mob Ran Vegas by Steve Fischer.
All the old downtown casinos are there from the 1950s and '60s. Back when you could drive on Fremont and the Strip was nothing but dirt.
