Placido Domingo to perform on Mexican Independence Day
On the anniversary of Mexican Independence on Sept. 15 at 8 p.m., famed tenor Placido Domingo will play a one-night-only concert at the Planet Hollywood Hotel & Casino.
Special mariachi musicians will be added to a 65-piece orchestra by the University of Las Vegas Nevada Symphony and Puerto Rican soprano Ana Maria Martinez under the direction of Eugene Kohn. Selections will include Zarzuela as well as Spanish opera.
