Girls of Glitter Gulch strip club denied slot machines
The bad economy has even affected strip clubs to want to add gambling.
Every once in awhile, a gentlemen's club will request to operate slot machines in their establishment, and the Nevada Gaming Control Board almost always denies the application as unsuitable for gaming.
Today, it happened with the Girls of Glitter Gulch, the only topless club on the strip of downtown Fremont Street casinos.
The board turned down Glitter Gulch's request to have 15 slot machines operating within their club.
Last time, it was Sin (now Penthouse) that wanted video poker machines. They also attempted to sponsor a topless poker tournament, which was thwarted by the Gaming Control Board.
As far as we know, out of all the Las Vegas strip clubs, only OG (Olympic Garden) contains gaming machines.
