Record Snow Storm covers Las Vegas Strip
What happens when an Artic cold front meets moisture laden air fresh the South Pacific? You have a potential for record snowfall in Las Vegas. Las Vegas visitors and locals alike were stunned as they watched snow falling across the Vegas Valley throughout the day Tuesday. With accumulations reaching 2-6 inches previous snowfall records fell by the ice coated wayside.
It is indeed a rare event to see the white stuff covering Las Vegas resorts as you drive down the Las Vegas strip through slushy ice and snow. Of course, snow removal equipment in Las Vegas is as rare as a Vegas hooker that takes IOU's. A few Flipchip photos of the snowy Vegas landscape.
