Consumer Electronics Show Opens Thursday
The largest expo of the yea, 2009 Consumer Electronics Show (CES), begins on Thursday and runs through Sunday filling the Las Vegas Convention Center and the Sands Expo Center with the latest in electronic gadgets. The high volume of expo goers will add to the crowds on the strip and increase traffic on the streets around the expo areas. This is 'the gathering' of electrified powers that will define our all electronic, miniatured, digitized, accessorized lifestyles for 2009 and beyond.

Exhibitors from around the world will introduce new technologies and new products designed specifically for the mass market consumer. The latest in cellular communications will undoubtedly be the major focus of many of the exhibitors along with the always popular audio systems for your ride. This is the place that will turn your electron dreams into realities while suffocating your credit card.
World's largest consumer TV screen, world's smallest cellphone, world's smartest robot, world's
newest hand held device, world's latest technology...catch phrases that will be repeated repeatedly.

Even with world economy on life support the electro expo is expected to draw in excess of 120,000 participants and provide a nice across-the-board boost to many Las Vegas bottom lines. Job creation or more layoffs within the consumer electronics industry will depend on the sales numbers from the 2009 CES. CES is not open to the general public.
