Santana signs exclusive Las Vegas residency with Hard Rock
The newly opened Joint concert venue at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino has a seating capacity of a whopping 4,007 and has lined up some fantastic headliners in the upcoming months.
What we haven't had in our fine neon city is a big headliner in residence. Sure, we have the pop crooning of Bette Midler or Cher or Barry Manilow or Donny & Marie or Elton John... but what about the rockers? (We still miss Prince, the artist formerly in residence at Rio.)
That's about to change beginning May 27, with Carlos Santana announcing a long-term residency in Las Vegas at The Joint. Santana will be exclusive to the Hard Rock casino for at least 36 performances per year, through 2010.
