Coroner determines accidental death for Danny Gans
Any time someone dies young, the rumor mill ramps up with possible causes other than a natural death.
This was also the case with 52-year-old Wynn Encore headliner Danny Gans, who died in his sleep early last month.
Gans had just signed a multi-year, multi-million dollar deal with Wynn and was widely known to have lived a clean life, so when he died at his home in Henderson, Nev., people began to whisper about possible drug use.
That rumor can finally be laid to rest, as the toxicology report from his autopsy revealed that he died from a toxic reaction to the prescription painkiller Dilaudid.
Gans had constant chronic back pain most of his life, from playing minor league baseball and hazards of his performances.
