Youth Poetry Slam tonight
Could the next great poet be in Las Vegas?
Come find out tonight at the Youth Poetry Slam at the Summerlin Library theater (1771 Inner Circle Drive).
During the spoken word competition, up to 10 young poets will perform two pieces of poetry (with one of them original) in under 10 minutes, with audience members judging.
Tickets are $4 and all proceeds go to the Palo Verde High School English department.
