Garth Brooks out of retirement, in Las Vegas

Announced today in a Las Vegas press conference streamed live on the websites of Wynn Las Vegas, country superstar Garth Brooks will be a fixture of Encore Las Vegas.
Scheduled for 16 weeks in 2010, Brooks will take over the Encore Theater that was last used by the late Danny Gans.
Brooks' retired 10 years ago to take care of his three daughters. "You want to be remembered at your best," he said of going out on top.
To give an idea just how popular Brooks is, the Beatles have sold 170 million albums. Brooks is second with 128 million.
