Paranormal Activity followup filming in Las Vegas

Psst...
The most excellent haunted house flick Paranormal Activity is dominating the couple hundred theaters (opening wide Oct. 16) it's in, where each screening is earning more than the reported $11,000 it cost to make.
Director Oren Peli had to wait a couple years before Paramount decided what to do with the indie movie it bought at Slamdance. Plans were to do a remake with a bigger budget and name actors, but ultimately, Paramount released it as is with an ending change suggested by Steven Spielberg.
How does this relate to our fine neon city?
Peli is shooting his next movie in Utah and Las Vegas this week, specifically at the Hooters Casino & Hotel this Thursday.
Area 51 will follow the found footage format, as we see teenagers sneaking around Nellis Air Force Base and the Nevada desert. We suspect aliens are involved, but who are we to spoil.
The same group behind Paranormal will be doing the new movie, at a substantially higher-but-still-low-budget of $5 million.
