Last week, a 400-pound white tiger was loose in Las Vegas, in a northwest neighborhood at Elkhorn and Torrey Pines.
The identity of the tiger has been revealed as Picasso, which is part of the Fercos Brothers' Untamed Illusions magic show.
Tony Fercos, the owner, said he was walking the tiger on a leash (an odd enough sight even for Las Vegas), when it was distracted by a rabbit and gave chase, breaking from the leash.
Normally Picasso is kept behind gates, but because of surgery that gave him stitches, it was recommended he get out for exercise, which resulted in getting loose.
Fercos caught up with Picasso and returned him to his cage before Metro arrived.
