Aria at CityCenter Las Vegas
Would you trade having a deadly pneumonia for $42 million?
That’s the amount each of the eight guests are suing MGM Resorts for exposing them to Legionnaire’s disease from April to July of this year.
Aria, which had the deadly bacteria in their water system, immediately contacted all guests staying at their hotel-resort during that time, also reimbursing for any related medical expenses. The casino and builders have since corrected the problem.
Six guests contracted the disease. All eight are suing for a collective $337.5 million.
