The Red Dragon has 3,000 hand painted scales
One of our favorite places in all of Las Vegas is the Bellagio's Conservatory & Botanical Garden. The greatest place on the strip to get away from the hustle, noise and screaming crowds is among the fresh flowers and plants that turn the space into a living wonderland. Exotic woodland fragrances instead of tobacco smoke, the tinkle of waterfalls rather than the clang of slot machines, the hushed exclamations of surprised tourist and the soft clicks of cameras replace the roar of nonstop traffic.
Take a moment to stroll through this living artwork and enjoy the splendid colors that currently celebrate the Chinese New Year of the Dragon. it should come as no surprise that a clan of dragons have moved into the gardens and will remain throughout the 15 days of celebrations. If Las Vegas is out of the questions use this link to trasnsport directly to the Flipchip Photo Gallery 2012 Chinese New Year.
Flipchip loaded up the cameras and made his annual trek to the Bellagio's Conservatory & Botanical Garden where he sent back some of his favorite images from this year's show.
