Doyle Brunson ready for online poker fight

Doyle Brunson at play during the 2010 WSOP

Never known as one to back down from a fight or turn tail and run, the grandmaster of poker, Doyle Brunson, believes the whole of the poker industry is primed for the inevitable fight with the DOJ over the legality of online poker rooms.  The fed lawyers are just as determined to eradicate the online poker scourge from the webscape of the U.S. of A.

Federal prosecutors continued their "onward christian soldiers" attack on the online poker industry with the seizure of ten domain names including DoylesRoom, the online site endorsed by ten time WSOP champion, Doyle Brunson.  Note: Astute viewers will notice the new and improved graphics of the federal placeholder.

Additionally, federal prosecutors out of Baltimore unsealed indictments against Canadian firm, ThrillX Systems and a Cyprus company, K23 Group, charging the two with money laundering and running an illegal gambling business.  They also added three new names to their April 15th "Black Friday" most wanted list of 11 illegal online poker people.

More detailed information is available at Forbes online.  Astute viewers will also notice the Forbes article includes a photo of Doyle Brunson taken by our very own Flipchip, the poker photographer to Wikipedia.
