Erik Seidel, professional poker player and 8 WSOP bracelet winner, added another prestigious title to his resume on Sunday evening when he defeated Chris Moneymaker to win the 2011 NBC National Heads-Up Poker Championship. The 7th Annual Heads-Up event was held at Caesars Palace Las Vegas and featured 64 invite only participants representing the best poker players from around the world.
In addition to the title, Las Vegas resident Erik Seidel takes home $750,000 in cash, a diamond ring and the trophy. Chris Moneymaker, 2003 WSOP Main Event champion, received $300,000 for his second place finish.
