The Palazzo very softly opened the doors to the public on New Year's Eve. The casino, lobbies and other public areas were available even though the 3066 room hotel will not be receiving guest until January 6th.
My first impression of the Sands Corporation's $2.1 Billion Las Vegas strip casino project is "more of the same." Another palatial avant grade palace dedicated to personal pleasure. A huge entry lobby with polished inlaid marble floors and matching columns reaching high up to the elaborate ceilings capped with ornate skylights.
Visit one modern mega-resort Vegas casino to know them all. The Palazzo casino is just another billion dollar casino; except, it is brand new, and it looks, smells, and feels brand new.
