Boulder Dam Bridge nears completion

The world's longest concrete arch bridge will soon be completed and will open later this year to the delight of traffic crossing the mighty Colorado River. Far below the road deck travelers will have a grand view of Boulder Dam and Lake Mead. There will also be pedestrian access to allow visitors to walk across the bridge.
Finally, there will be a modern multi-lane highway connecting Las Vegas to Arizona and trucks and buses will no longer have to make the detour through Laughlin thus reducing the travel time by an hour or more.
