Liberace Museum Las Vegas
Once almost synonymous Las Vegas, piano maestro Liberace's star has faded, and along with it, the Tropicana Ave. museum featuring all things Liberace, including cars, pianos, costumes, jewelry, and antiques.
The 31-year-old museum opened 8 years before Liberace's death in 1987, when the museum expanded to its current size of 16,000 sq. feet.
Since then, attendance has dropped, enough that the Liberace Foundation decided to close the museum as of Oct. 18.
You still have a chance to try on Liberace's cape (which you're allowed to do at the museum) from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Saturday and noon to 4 p.m. on Sunday. Ticket price is $15.
