Pius Heinz, 2011 WSOP Main Event Champion
A few minutes after midnight the final hand of the 2011 World Series Of Poker Main Event was dealt to the final two players, Martin Strasko and Pius Heinz. Betting ended when Pius Heinz said "all-in" and was called by Martin Staszko.
Pius Heinz finished in first place to become the 2011 WSOP Main Event Champion. He collected $8,715,638 in cash to supplement the coveted gold and diamond 2011 WSOP Championship Bracelet. Martin Staszko received $5,433,086 for second place.
2011 WSOP Player of the Year and crowd favorite, Ben Lamb, went out on the third hand of the evening. Lamb banks $4,021,138 for his third place effort.
