How big can Simon Cowell moguldom get?
His "X Factor" British television show is in its 5th season with 15 million viewers. That easily beats out the popular "Antiques Roadshow" at 6 million viewers.
In the UK, that accounts for 49 percent of the viewing audience watching the reality talent show.
The "American Idol" host now plans to bring "X Factor" stateside, to Las Vegas specifically.
"The X Factor -- Live from Las Vegas" will be broadcast live from an as-yet-unnamed Strip hotel.
Where it will be broadcast will be online, twice a week, as a pay-per-view.
This could also eventually lead to an American television version of "The X Factor."
Cowell is also behind the "America's Got Talent" and "Britain's Got Talent" shows, the latter of which spawned singing sensation Susan Boyle. Boyle's YouTube video singing "I Dreamed a Dream" has had over 100 million combined hits, and she just released her first album which went to number 1 on Billboard (better than Lady Gaga).
And the producer of that album? Simon Cowell.
