Another Tuesday is upon us and that means a new installment of the 2005 WSOP on ESPN. Tonight we will see the final table for event #28, a $5,000 buy-in Limit Hold'em tournament with a cast of nine characters setting down to play for a gold WSOP Bracelet and shares of the $1,264,300 prize purse. The final nine players are a diverse bunch best described by a quote from Dr. Pauly's event #28 wrap-up posted on LasVegasVegas.com direct from the floor of the WSOP tournament.

...a former professional athlete, an actor, a mother of four, the son of a famous poker player, a law student, a small business owner, a magazine publisher, and a seasoned tournament veteran who's seeking his first bracelet.

Read Pauly's event #28 live-blogged on Tao of Poker for all the details you don't get on the ESPN WSOP television series.

Get the stuff that TV had to cut, written in the Dr's trademark style of often gritty descriptions and always up-close observations.

The complete wrap-up of event #31 compiled and posted by Dr. Pauly at the conclusion of tonight's historic final table is available here on The Poker Prof's Blog. A complete list of finishers and prize money is on PokerPlayerNewspaper.com.

Tonight's broadcast brings us some more great tournament poker from the "big show" at the Rio. The second hour alone is worth the price of tonight's ticket. It doesn't get much better than watching Doyle Brunson, the grandmaster of the game, play a final table at the WSOP. The author of Doyle Brunson's Super Sytem, the most celebrated poker book of all time, shows why he is the best.

Tonight's first hour is listed as starting at 8:00pm East Coast Time. Check the local listing for times in your area.
