The second day (B) of four scheduled "First Days" for the 2006 Main Event began at Noon Saturday with another full house, literally, not just full but jammed. Again, poker players as far as the eye could see taking chasing after Poker's the most coveted prize in poker, the 2006 WSOP World Championship.
The crush of people gathered at the Rio Resort on Saturday to witness the making of poker history was at capacity. Even Flamingo Blvd was jammed as a result of the poker tournament going on inside the Rio Resort. It's that big of a deal. Record crowds for the tournament, the poker, the "trade show that's fun, the exhibit freebies, the many free T-shirts...Oops! Sorry, forgot. No more free T-shirts starting today, Tees may be peddled by t-shirt vendors only. Another two thumbs-up for Harrah's, you now have the distinction of running the only trade show in the history of this quadrant of the galaxy that forbids giving away the trade show marketing staple, T-Shirts. Way to go guys. Flipchip's images of all the action at the big poker show playing the Rio Resort's Pavilion Expo Center follows.
