James Mackey became the third youngest player to win a WSOP bracelet when he aced Event #22, $5000 No-Limit Hold'em. With a serious determination and solid play Mackey continued to build his chips throughout the event to make the final table with the second largest stack. Mackey won all four hands of heads-up with Stuart Fox, going all-in with the "Brunson Ten - Deuce" to make a set of tens and win the event. He received the coveted gold bracelet, a Corum watch and $730,740 in cash. Fox takes $448,892 for second.
Event #23, $1500 Pot Limit Omaha, played the final table Friday evening. Scott Clements gathered all the chips into his stack when he eliminated Eric 'Rizen' Lynch on the first hand of heads-up play. This is Clements' second WSOP bracelet. He collected $194,206, the Corum watch and his second WSOP Gold Bracelet. Lynch walks away with $119,508 as first runner up.
