October sees the return of major tournament action to Las Vegas with the Caesars Palace Classic getting underway at Harrah's flagship strip casino October 12th and running thru the 24th. The 15 events include 2 Omaha tournaments, and 13 No-Limit Hold'em matches with one NLHE being a Ladies Only contest. Buy-in's range from $550 up to the $10,000 Championship event.

Downtown Las Vegas gets back into the tournament poker business with Binion's Poker Open running from October 11th thru the 31st.
