Travis Johnson, winner WSOP Event #7


Travis Johnson, a self proclaimed member of the "Moneymaker Effect," took $340 from his $3K playing bank and turned it into $666,853 and a gold bracelet after winning a satellite at the WSOP. The North Hills, California banker outlasted a field of 2,791 players to claim the victory in Event 7 - $1,500 No Limit Hold'em.

Steve Karp finished second to receive $414,116 in cash while Mike Ciotola picked up $273,385 for show. The event amassed a prize pool of $$3,809,715 paid out to the top 297 finishers
