Flamingo on the Las Vegas strip

The Flamingo on the Las Vegas strip is the original place that started it all. Bugsy Siegel’s dream was built during the mid-forties in the empty Nevada desert miles from the thriving downtown casino corridor and although Bugsy didn’t survive to see his creation redefine the dusty Las Vegas town the Flamingo has been a landmark ever since.

POKER ROOM REVIEW…PLANET HOLLYWOOD

Planet Hollywood located on the famed Las Vegas Strip recently celebrated the grand opening. The property was originally opened as the Aladdin Resort, an under performing property that saw a host of owners try and fail. Enter Planet Hollywood with a plan and an infusion of cash to correct the original design flaws, do a complete make over and finally allow the resort to live up to its potential.

It certainly isn’t the biggest resort on the Las Vegas Strip, in fact, its not even on the strip; but, Maloof’s Palms Resort is a most desirable place to be in Las Vegas. Having quickly become the playground for the new generation of hip culture, the Palms is where you go to see the rich and famous, the beautiful people, the sports superstars, movie stars and music giants. Owner George Maloof pulled another coup out of his enchanted bag when he landed the 2007 MTV Video Music Awards at the property and focused the world’s attention on the Palms Las Vegas.
