NEVADA IS NUMBER ONE FOR THE SEVENTH YEAR!

When lists of rankings are compiled the state of Nevada is often well down the line, even taking last place among the fifty states in some categories (education comes to mind). In fact, the last time we topped a list it was for home foreclosures.

Nevada is at the top of another list. The CQ Press’s annual State Crime Rankings list has ranked the Silver State number one. We’re at the top of the leader board in the crime category, probably as a result of our highly transient population, our over the top appetite for drugs, and the close proximity to LA gangs and the Mexico/US border. (FYI: Nevada is also the number one place to have your ride stolen).
